Pinterest: The New Social Image Sharing Network

Pinterest is described as being the new social image sharing network but it’s functionalities allow so much more. Within your profile you can follow other users, create boards of images, and most importantly “pin” things. You create boards to “pin” things to with different categories of whatever you wish to share.
The added features that some other photo sharing sites don’t have are: an easy “Pin it” bookmarklet, a mobile app, a “follow button” for websites, a “pin it” button for websites, and cool user interface that showcases the content in a free-flowing way. You can also sign up with Facebook and share posts.
The only catch here is that Pinterest is still in invite only mode. If you’d like to give it a spin, contact me and I’ll gladly invite you.
